The Master Blueprint

“Unless the Lord builds the house, its builders labor in vain.”

Psalm 127:1

Some Ideas to Contemplate:

  • This wisdom from the Psalmist teaches us that everything we do depends on our connection with God (Higher Power, Supreme Universal Energy, etc.) as our Source and Sustenance.  It reminds us that we are never alone because we are always one with God.  However, we must choose to be God-guided.
  • Your intuition is your God connection, your own inner wisdom that guides you in knowing, seeing, and understanding what is best for you.  It helps you discern how to lead your life, as well as discern what you want and what you do not.
  • Sometimes it is said that we co-create with God.  Minister Emmet Fox explains this like  an architect designing a blueprint.  He says architects draw “what is to be, in order that it may be.  So, we build in thought the conditions that will later come into manifestation on the physical plane.”  For example, a house may not be built in actuality, but it can be constructed according to a blueprint.
  • Our subconscious mind holds the blueprint.  Like a recording device, the subconscious only knows what it hears.  It does not distinguish between positive and negative.

This means that we create the lives we desire based on what we affirm daily, whether positive or negative.  These affirmations establish a foundation, but we must still do the work to build the life we want.

Practices for the Week:

  • Notice this week how you attune to God.
  • When you are attuned, notice what your intuition, your inner wisdom, tells you.
  • Illustrate, journal, and/or record your wisdom and use it creatively in all aspects of your life.

You are a spiritual being with a radiant soul, living in a sacred body temple, having human experiences.  You have the spiritual key of creativity to use any way you want.  Remember: God can only do for you what God can do through you.  This is your life; no one else can live it for you.  So, affirm what you want by using your master blueprint, not someone else’s.  Trust your intuition and be divinely guided.
