Jesus said to the blind beggar,
“Receive your sight; your faith has made you whole.”
Luke 18:42
Some Ideas to Contemplate:
- Throughout his ministry, Jesus taught that faith and belief reveal wholeness. The moment we believe that we’re whole, the moment we choose to recognize our own inner perfection, is the moment we experience grace.
- For any healing to occur, we must identify with and believe in wholeness more than in ailments. Jesus sees the inherent wholeness a person already is, not any perceived brokenness, illness, or unworthiness. Jesus does not inquire about specific diseases or offer a pharmacopeia of medicines.
- Wholeness is an inside job. It’s the quality of being completely and harmoniously unified in body, mind, and soul. We recognize wholeness by imagining, envisioning, and embodying the essence of God we are, just as Jesus was. As one of God’s divine beloveds, created in God’s image and likeness, we are whole, perfect, and complete now.
Practices for the Week:
- Set your intention and use your energy for realizing your greater wholeness now.
- Check your spiritual toolbox for what you already have to support you.
- Notice how wholeness feels within you and how it looks outside of you.
- Illustrate, journal, and/or record all your discoveries, especially all specific healing.
Remember that you are a spiritual being with a radiant soul, living in a sacred body temple, having human experiences. Believe in yourself. Have faith in what you know. Trust your intuition. Then act as you are guided.
