Today—and every day—let us give thanks.  Let us be thankful not so much for the delights on our table or for the presence of family and friends, for although we acknowledge that all manifest things flow from God, we see that they are but an incidental and temporary good.  The presence—the constant presence—of Changeless Spirit in the midst of changing appearances is what fills us with overflowing gratitude.

Whatever the outward experiences of days past or days to come, let us be grateful for all we have now.  Let us find our true delight in the assurance that through all the twists and turns of life, a glorious stream of life shines forth.  This is our true food, nourishment for body, mind, and soul.  It expresses through us and all others, for we are—each and every one—filled with divine life.

For the pure, rich, sacred sustenance of this great reservoir of being, for eternal compassion, grace, and love, let us be truly grateful.

Amen.
