An Affirmative Prayer For Beginning Again

Today, I am ready to experience new life,
to be divinely guided and directed with peaceful expectation.

I am finished swearing, stomping, screaming,
and insisting on my own limited way.

I am ready to look down the road,
to witness a positive outcome,
to step into the Grace that has always been mine.
I accept my divine appointment,
here now,
in this time, in this place, in this space.

Today, I let God be my source and my sustenance,
so I can honor my radiant soul energy as never before.
I empty my hands
of anything that no longer serves my best,
everything that is out of harmony with my wellbeing:
toxic behavior;
negative thinking;
misguided compassion;
lack consciousness;
worthless junk;
constant excuses;
physical ailments;
emotional uproars;
unfulfilled efforts;
false followers;
loveless relationships.

Today, I ask myself:
Who am I, now that all this is gone,
Now that I have emptied my hands,
emptied myself, of all that is not me?

The answer lies just beyond the bend,
in the enduring, omnipresent Grace
that has always been available, awaiting me

Today, I believe in my bright future.
I let my journey unfold.
I trust my wisdom.
I affirm my faith.

This is my new beginning.
I rejoice, and I am grateful.
