Today, on this first day of autumn, leaves swirl from trees.

Our sign of changes to come.

Change, again.

Constant change in a world spinning fast.

September nearly finished, and we catch our breath.

While we are too harried to keep up

And too anxious to slow down,

This season invites us to pause — and let go.

So, rather than fear the changes,

May we flow with them as God’s goodness becomes our harvest.

May we feel old pain pass with a soft rain’s grace.

May we alight with inner radiance as we behold nature’s vibrant palettes.

May we be strong initiating whatever can begin and completing what must be finished.

May we relinquish our hold on the branch which binds us, so we can surrender to the ground of peace.

May we trust in perfect order and divine outcome as new sights wait beyond.

May we keep our faith with faith, our heads high in hope, our steps assured and steady.

May we shimmer as we are, who we are, where we are, as we become the change.

For all this, we pray.  And for all which is yet to be, we are truly grateful.

So it is.  And so we allow it to be.

Thank You, God.
